Her story

A lifelong odyssey of self-discovery, healing, and becoming the coach she needed when she was younger.

I

A lifelong odyssey

In the intricate tapestry of life, Courtney emerges as a beacon of light and transformation, dedicated to empowering mothers and breaking generational cycles. Born with an indomitable spirit, she embarked on a lifelong odyssey of self-discovery and healing that would ultimately shape her into the professional mom, coach, and advocate for maternal well-being we know today.

Courtney's dedication to personal growth is exemplified through her participation in transformative workshops like Landmark Forum, Tony Robbins' Unleash the Power Within, and Date with Destiny. These experiences have enriched her journey, providing valuable insights and tools for self-discovery and empowerment. Currently, Courtney is actively pursuing certification as a conscious parent with Dr. Shefali, further expanding her knowledge and skills in fostering conscious and connected parenting.

Early life was not without its challenges for Courtney. Growing up, she faced hurdles that most would find insurmountable, but her unyielding determination shone through from a young age. She embarked on a journey of self-exploration that would lead her to the world of personal growth workshops.

II

Where it began

Her life took a pivotal turn when her parents decided to confront their own demons and embarked on the path to sobriety when she was just eight years old. Her dad struggled with suicidality on and off throughout her lifetime. These pivotal moments instilled in her the values of recovery, gratitude, and resilience. It was here that the seeds of her mission were sown — a mission to guide mothers on their own journeys towards fulfillment and inner peace.

“These pivotal moments instilled in her the values of recovery, gratitude, and resilience.”

III

Becoming a mother, finding her calling

As Courtney transitioned into motherhood herself, she became acutely aware of the unique challenges that mothers face. The daily stressors, the overwhelming demands, and the specter of burnout cast shadows over the joy of parenting. It was at this intersection of her life that she found her true calling. Courtney dedicated herself to helping fellow moms eliminate stress, conquer overwhelm, and evade burnout, all while discovering the profound wellsprings of peace, love, and joy within themselves.

IV

Self-love as the foundation

Central to her mission is the belief in the power of self-love and self-care. Courtney understands that a mother's capacity to nurture her children is intrinsically tied to her own well-being. She embarked on a mission to heal the inner child in every mother, guiding them towards the path of self-compassion and self-discovery.

V

Breaking the cycle

What sets Courtney apart is her commitment to breaking the chains of generational trauma. Her own experiences growing up in a household touched by addiction, and her parents' journey towards sobriety, have shaped her into an advocate for ending generational cycles. Through her work, she empowers mothers to break free from the patterns of the past, forging a brighter future for their children.

VI

Living it daily

Courtney exemplifies intentional living through daily practices aligned with her core values. She prioritizes health and vitality by incorporating mindful exercises and nutritious choices into her routine. Gratitude is a cornerstone of her life, expressed through daily reflections on positive moments. Unconditional love guides her interactions, fostering deep connections with her family and community.

Forgiveness is a practice Courtney embraces, recognizing its transformative power for personal growth. In navigating the complexities of modern motherhood, she incorporates evidence-based techniques such as mindfulness meditation, which studies show can reduce stress and enhance well-being. She also advocates for the scientifically-supported benefits of self-compassion, and embraces modern tools like positive psychology interventions — encouraging moms to focus on the strengths and positive aspects of their lives. Mind-body practices, such as yoga and deep breathing, play a vital role in her approach.

Courtney's emphasis on values-based living extends to encouraging mothers to align their choices with what truly matters to them — empowering them to navigate the demands of parenthood while fostering inner peace, love, and joy in their daily lives.

VII

Where she stands today

Today, Courtney stands as a shining example of resilience, transformation, and maternal empowerment. Her life's work is a testament to the enduring human spirit and the capacity for healing and growth. About my family

Life in Lexington with the girls.

We live in Lexington, Kentucky — the Thoroughbred capital of the world, and our favorite family outing is a day at the races at Keeneland. I have two girls, Scarlett and Charley Jane, both born in California.

Scarlett is our athlete and artist — she lights up every soccer game, is obsessed with horseback riding, and loves painting and drawing. Charley Jane is our sweet, dramatic, theatrical singer and dancer, never short on personality.

Sister bond

Building each other up, not tearing each other down.

Scarlett and Charley Jane share a special bond, one we protect on purpose. As a family, we practice mindfulness and openness together — using placemats at mealtimes as a conversation starter to set intentions and practice our values by being a certain way, not just doing.

BE kind. BE loving. BE forgiving.

When we can be those things, no one can take them away from us — that's where real confidence and a strong inner world come from.
